RIVER FALLS  hosted by the Mn
Trailriders
This was an event to remember for sure!  I had never wheeled at this
location, and wasn't sure what to expect.  I talked Jeff into joining me with his very
capable Toyota (it wasn't too hard, he's usually down for some foolishness), and I
brought my brother along as a co-pilot.
After a quick low-fat breakfast of bacon and bacon
we gathered for the drivers meeting and to group
up.  I figured with 33's and a locked rear both Jeff
and I would be good for intermediate.
 Well, he was.
I may not have been!  We hit some awesome trails with
an excellent trail guide, and the slick muddy hill climbs
took their toll in short order.
In the first hour, I incurred a broken antenna, broken
left taillight, ripped off exhaust, and of course the
popped rear window!  And I'll tell you this, I was
smiling darn near the whole time.  Even though Jeff's
Yota only got dirty and made the whole day without so
                                           much as a scratch while
mine looked like it had been through a war, it was a
truly fun day.
